The Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
SCS reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of all entrants, and to disqualify any entry form that arrives late or is lost, damaged, illegible, incomplete or incorrect. If eligibility verification is requested by SCS, you will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility as proof of your eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to comply within ten (10) days may result in disqualification from further participation in this Contest and forfeiture of any potential prizes, at the sole discretion of Salary Cap Sports.
2. Sponsor
The Contest is sponsored by Salary Cap Sports LLC, located at PO Box 291, Hopkinton, New Hampshire 03229, United States.
3. Agreement to Official Rules
Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
4. Contest Period
The Contest begins on February 3rd, 2025 at 8:00am EST and ends on November 1st, 2025 at 8:00am EST (the 'Contest Period'). Entries that are submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified. Submissions will be accepted for the duration of the Contest by entering the contest at salarycapsports.com.
5. How to Enter
Online: This method of entry will be available by visiting our website (www.salarycapsports.com) and following the directions provided to fill out the entry information, and submit.
Limit three (3) entries per person, per email address, and per household for the duration of the Contest Period, regardless of method of entry. Entries received from any person, e-mail address, or household in excess of the stated limitation will be void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
6. Leagues
Each entry will be placed into one of four, 5-team divisions within a 20-team league. Each league is generally determined in a random manner. Without exception, the same rules and trade deadlines and restrictions bind all teams in a given league. There will be two league prizes at the end of the competition: The first prize is for most over cumulative SCS points during the regular season. The second prize is for the best overall head-to-head record during the regular season.
7. Head-to-Head Period
A head-to-head period begins every Monday and runs through the immediately following Sunday. The first of twenty-seven head-to-head periods begins with the first major league game played on March 27th. The final head-to-head period and SCS Regular Season ends with the last game played on September 29th. Each Period you will be matched against a different team in your league. If your team's SCS point total for that Period is greater than your opponent's, then your team posts a win for that head-to-head period. Your team posts a loss if your opponent records more SCS points. All-Star game note: For the period in which the All-star game is played, your player selections will NOT accumulate points for any official stats that occurs during the game.
8. Playoffs
After the final head-to-head period, the two teams from each five-team division from each league with the best win/loss records will automatically qualify for the SCS Head2Head playoffs. In addition, four teams from each league that did not automatically qualify for the SCS Head2Head Playoffs will earn 'wildcard' playoff berths. These wildcard teams will be the four teams with the greatest cumulative SCS regular season point totals of all non-automatic playoff qualifiers in their respective leagues. In the event there is a tie for the last remaining wildcard berth, all tie participants will qualify for the playoffs. All team win/loss records are erased and all playoff qualifiers start with zero points. All playoff qualifiers will be notified by email and via the website with SCS playoff cap space, trade deadlines, and playoff rules. The SCS Head2Head Playoffs begin with the first game of the pro divisional playoffs on Saturday, October 4th and end upon the completion of the last game of the professional playoffs. There are a total of three (3) trade periods for the Playoffs. Cumulative points throughout the SCS Head2Head Playoffs determine the SCS Head2Head Playoff winners.
9. Regular Season Division Tiebreaker
If two teams have the same win/loss record at the end of the SCS Head2Head Regular Season, the team that won the head-to-head match-up will finish with the higher division ranking. If more than two teams have the same win/loss record, then division rank will be determined first by the best head-to-head record of all tied teams. If the head-to-head record can't break the tie we will then break the tie by cumulative SCS Head2Head Regular Season point totals (highest to lowest is associated to final division rank). If a tie remains in either case, each tied team will share the division rank.
10. Playoffs Tiebreaker
If a tie exists after the SCS Head2Head Playoffs, the team with the greater cumulative SCS Head2Head Regular Season point total will win the tiebreaker. If a tie still exists after applying the first tiebreaker, the team with the greater point total in the final round of playoffs will be the winner. If a tie still exists after applying these tiebreakers, the respective prize(s) will be split evenly among all tied teams.
11. Winner Determination
On or about November 16th, 2025, the Sponsor will identify potential winners. The Sponsor will attempt to notify potential winners via telephone or email on or about December 1st, 2025. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within 90 (90) days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, the prize will be forfeited.
12. Winner Notification
The potential winners will be notified by email, mail or phone. Each potential Grand winner (parent/legal guardian if a minor in his/her state of residence) will be required to complete, electronically sign and submit a Declaration of Compliance within ninety (90) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, in order to claim his/her prize. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, or fails to submit the Declaration of Compliance within the required time period (if applicable), or prize is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize. If a potential winner is at least 18 but still considered a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian, who will be required to sign the Declaration of Compliance on the potential winners behalf and fulfill any other requirements imposed on winner set forth herein. Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, the prize is forfeited. Prizes will be fulfilled approximately 8-10 weeks after the conclusion of the Contest.
13. Prizes
